Summer's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I am currently a part-time instructor at the University of Kentucky and enjoy teaching in all forms. While I chose science as a career and have worked in the private and public sectors before returning to academia, I have a thriving creative side that I explore through photography and other mediums. Therefore, I have the ability to provide on-the-spot visual representations of concepts my students may be struggling to comprehend. Also I am skilled at coming up with creative methods for explaining information and problem solving. I have previously been referred to as a cross between MacGyver and Martha Stewart because of my ability to mesh logical thinking and creative solutions.
