Robert's Bio & Tutoring Experience

While I was a student at the University of Kentucky, I worked as a informal tutor and editor. I tutored High School and College-aged students in a variety of Math, Science and Liberal Arts Courses as well as helped them to achieve a better understanding of what it takes to turn a good paper into a great one. This was something I was passionate about for the entirety of time I was in college and can provide ample references upon request. Before going to college I was a tutor for Middle and Elementary School students through a number of church youth programs.

After completing my degree, I went to work at an Outdoor Education facility in Burton Texas and was responsible for teaching a number of nature related science and language arts based classes to children ranging in age from 3rd to 8th grade. While there I focused on fostering a sense of wonder and an impulse for inquiry in those children I had the pleasure of teaching.

I believe strongly that any person can achieve academic success through a proper combination of hard work and engaging educational techniques. I strive for excellence in all that my students do and work as much as necessary to help them achieve their goals.
