Nathaniel's Bio & Tutoring Experience

Hi, my name is Nathaniel Desantiago. I am a 24 year old who graduated from Northern Arizona University. I am certified Washington teacher, with endorsements in Special Education K-12th, and Elementary Education K-8th. I was college baseball and football player. I have coached multiple high school sports and I love to use the one-on-one aspect of coaching, when working with a student on specific academic needs. For example: dealing with a baseball player who is struggling at the plate because his swing is not correct is similar to a student who keeps trying a math process and keeps getting the wrong answer. Both outcomes will be incorrect if the proper steps are not being taken to find the desired product or outcome. I am a very energetic person who thrives to get my students to buy into and take control of their own learning and experiences. I often like to have some kind of food or treat that allows for my student and I to have an immediate common ground. I promises to give your child a fun and intense learning experience where that once before dreaded math problem is now something to get excited about!
