Margaret's Bio & Tutoring Experience

In 2007, I became certified as NYS Teachers Aide. I have substituted for the Wayne Central School District since 2001. I have worked as a substitute from K-12 in short term and long term positions. I have a Liberal Arts college degree and was an honor student and graduated from high school with college credits. I love word games and have a passion for teaching. I especially enjoy Language Arts. As a nature lover, I have run a horse day camp for children including hiking and teaching about nature. Married for almost 30 years now, my husband and I enjoy visiting with our 2 young grandchildren and are proud of our 3 grown daughters. Two of our daughters are college graduates with degrees in Biology and one is still working on her degree in architecture. Reading with your children is very important as is modeling a positive attitude toward learning. Our world is full of many wonders, and travel (even local travel) can spark an interest in history for your child/children.
