Kevin's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for over 30 years. Beginning in high school, I tutored fellow students. In college, I volunteered in the Writing Center and at the Hutch School, for children undergoing leukemia transplants. Following graduation, I volunteered at a local youth center. I also taught 3-5 graders for 10 years.

Most recently, I have been working with my two boys, ages 10 and 14, as well as a few kids in our neighborhood, in all subjects. My oldest will soon be entering high school, in all honors classes.

Additionally, I run the WatchDOG program at my younger son's elementary school and am actively involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.

I enjoy tutoring as I love working with kids one on one. I believe a strong foundation is a key to success in any subject. The stronger a student's foundation, the further he or she will be able to reach.
