Kaori's Bio & Tutoring Experience
Hi there! My name is Kaori Becker and as of December 2012 I graduated from the University of California Berkeley. I have a major in Social Welfare and a minor in Education. In terms of work experience, I've done online tutoring in English writing, grammar and speech. This past summer I worked as a Residential Advisor for a group of high school students in Berkeley, California, and helped them with their essays and writing skills, grammar, spelling, ideas, etc...I've also mentored high school and middle school students at summer camps, and really enjoy being a mentor and tutor to those younger than me, as well as my peers. Writing and helping other students show their best writing skills and potential is one of my greatest passions. I also love history, social studies, study skills, and helping children with special needs. This November I'm applying to Ohio State University's Masters in Education program in Language Arts so that I can go on to teach in the 7th-12th grades.
