Jeanne's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I have an abundance of expierence tutoring middle and high school students. I focus on mathematics, as I am going for a mathematics degree. I have tutored 6th-8th grade math, along with high school math; pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, algebra II, trigonometry, statistics, pre-calc, and calculus. I have designed an ACT math workshop and have gone through with teaching it to a classroom of students. I tend to break things down into smaller ideas to ensure that students grasp the lesson, to later piece all of the small ideas into a larger picture. I take different approaches than most teachers do with lessons, which helps the student comprehend the lesson. I am a funny, patient, and kind person, which keeps the relationship between mentor and student strong and trusting.
