I have been fortunate in that I have increasingly enjoyed learning as I have grown older. A part of that enjoyment has come from the process of working through problems and assignments with peers. I have come to find that I enjoy the intellectual stimulation and sense of achievement that come from teaching. This enthusiasm for learning and helping others learn makes me a dedicated tutor.

Javier's Education & Certifications
After graduating from the University of Chicago in 2012 with a BA in Economics I worked in Washington D.C. as a research assistant at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. During that time, I decided to change to a medical career. I subsequently completed my premedical coursework at Columbia University and I am currently applying to medical school. In August of 2015 I moved to Boulder, CO to enjoy the outdoors during my application year.
