Jamie's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am currently a graduate student and a Board Certified Music Therapist with a BA in Music Education. My teaching experience ranges from Pre-K through 12th grade students in both the Montessori setting and public school setting. I have specialized Music Therapy training with a wide range of special needs that addresses physical, academic, cognitive, social-emotional, and practical living goals. I have extensive experience with infants and toddlers, and have a clear understanding of developmental stages, various learning styles, and multiple subjects based on current public school curricula.

My tutoring experience covers multiple subjects with elementary and middle school age students both in school and after school, and several high school subjects, including English Literature/Grammar/Reading, Social Studies/History, Science/Biology, Health, Music (vocal, instrumental, theory, guitar), Visual Arts, and Drama/Theater.
