Emily's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I am a Certified Teacher with experience in virtual learning programs and special education.
While I was at Miami University as an undergraduate, I began tutoring other college students for their college-level math classes. After graduating in 2007, I began teaching at Colerain High School in an alternative computer lab setting, working with students who were not finding academic success in the traditional classes. In 2011, I left Colerain High School and began working at The Springer School and Center as the math teacher for 7th & 8th grades. Working at Springer, I gained experience helping students with a variety of learning disabilities. I believe that every student can be successful given the right tools and opportunities. I would love to help your student understand mathematics and feel successful.
