David's Bio & Tutoring Experience
Thank you for taking a look at my profile. I was born and raised in the Reno area and was fortunate enough to attend and graduate from Harvard. As cool as it was living in Boston, MA, I found that I missed the smaller city feel and amazing outdoor opportunities offered in the Reno-Tahoe area. I sincerely enjoy tutoring and helping others learn. I tutored throughout college in both individual and group settings in a variety of topics in math and science. I've found that the key to doing well in any course is organization. Many students don't approach math and science classes the right way to set themselves up for success. In addition to learning content, I can help students figure out how to use their time and resources more efficiently. On top of this, I sincerely believe the most important part of my education was not the specific material I learned, but the confidence that I can learn anything thrown my way. I guess this is at the heart of my tutoring philosophy – helping students develop that same confidence. Thank you again for your time. Please feel free to reach out.
