Throughout my educational career, I have spent a significant amount of time assisting classmates with the work they are engaged in, as well as helping out those in lower grade-level classwork I've had experience in. Most of this work was unpaid assistance as opposed to official tutoring work, but tutoring seems to have assisted them with their problems in each case.
My primary focus in tutoring is in attempting to figure out what aspect of the given subject is presenting trouble in being learned. By identifying the trouble spots in their understanding of a subject and proceeding to learn the logical flow of a subject, students are better able to comprehend both the current material and future work.
