I taught English as a Foreign Language in Korea for two and a half years, winning an award for Best Teacher from Chosun Education, Korea's largest educational services company. I strive to make my lessons lively, fun, and informative. I always make an effort to relate lesson material to students' own interests, as I firmly believe that making material as engaging as possible improves both retention and enjoyment.
I received perfect scores on the SAT Writing and Verbal Reasoning sections, along with a perfect score on the GRE Writing section and a score in the 96th percentile on the GRE Verbal Reasoning section. As such, I am well-equipped to help students improve their writing and standardized test taking.
