Chesley's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I am a professional tutor with experience in teaching all of the crucial reading comprehension and writing skills important to success at middle school, high school, on standardized tests and forward. I have worked at long-standing learning centers as well as in student homes building important verbal skills. I have experience working with older children; 6th grade through college level. I have also worked as part-time English teacher and freelance writer. I have a BA in English, which I obtained in 2006.
I offer help with the verbal portions of entrance exams such as SSAT/ISEE, SAT, and ACT. Lessons include vocabulary building, exam strategies, timed practice, and homework.
My services as an English tutor also include (but are not limited to) college application essay help, homework help, language arts enrichment, reading comprehension, proofreading, and grammar.
