Blaine's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I have tutored many different subjects. In high school I tutored math and during my time as an aircraft mechanic I worked as an instructor for specific aircraft maintenance procedures. I enjoy watching those I am instructing learn the material rather than recite memorized equations. It is my belief that understanding rather than memorizing is the key to success and something I strive to instill in those I help. I am well versed in mathematics up to differential equations and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with others.

My educational background is very broad, both in experience and academics. Before I started my degree in engineering I was working as an A&P (aircraft) mechanic. In this job I learned how to apply many of the concepts in mathematics I am working with today. I believe this gives me a unique insight into the math concepts I enjoy tutoring. They are not just numbers, but a means to solve real world problems. I have a love and appreciation for mathematics because of my experience and I enjoy sharing it with others.
