Sarah's Bio & Tutoring Experience

My experiences in education involve 6 years of teaching, including preschool, kindergarten, and first grade. Although I do not have specific tutoring experiences I have taught groups of all sizes as well as individuals. One aspect of my teaching that sets me apart from a lot of tutors is my ability to teach to multiple learning styles. I have experience diversifying my teaching strategies in order to benefit each individual student. I also have a great understanding of educational development which allows me to monitor student progress and adjust accordingly. My teaching philosophy is student centered and aims to help each individual surpass their goals. This involves not only high quality lessons, but responding to student's individual needs, challenges, and successes. I get great joy in watching students learn and succeed in the classroom. I hope to continue having a positive impact on students through tutoring.
