Oscar's Bio & Tutoring Experience
While I was at the University of Texas at El Paso, I was a GEAR UP tutor assigned to Salvador Sanchez Middle School. The program was funded by the government, but I was officially a UTEP employee. Though we helped prep students for college, I also assisted students with Math, Science, and Social Studies. This was during class and after school.
I also tutored as much as I could during my student teacher internship, which was set at El Dorado High School.
