I have tutored at all levels (Middle and High School, College and graduate school) through the schools I have taught at and at College Learning Experience, which offered academic support to special needs students. Because I was an excellent student throughout my own school experiences and have three degrees, I understand what it takes to do well by developing a homework, study and test-taking routine that leads to improved grades. As a student begins to do better, see results through a higher grade point average, they begin to like school more and their self-esteem and self-image improves, as well.
I have found that my students actually enjoy our tutoring time, especially as they begin to take pride in their work – and themselves.
