Maria's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I am currently a teacher's assistant at Elmwood Village Charter School. Each day I work with students one-on-one, small group, and large group. I have experience working with students from preschool through seventh grade. I have worked one-on-one with students in mostly all of those grades throughout my educational career. What makes me stand out is the experience I have. I have been working with children since my freshman year of college in 2008. I am still currently working with students at my job as well as while obtaining my Master's degree in literacy.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Fredonia in December 2012. I am certified in Childhood Inclusive Education, with a Math Concentration, and a Middle School Extension. I am currently working towards my Master's in Literacy birth through grade six from Canisius College. I will be completed with that in the summer of 2014.
