Larry's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I tutor MATH to students of ALL ages. I tutor Basic Math, pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calc., Trigonometry, College Algebra and the math portion of the SAT and ACT college prep. courses. I have been tutoring ever since I got out of high school in 1969. I have traveled to several parts of Texas and whenever I moved to another job, I always made myself available as a math tutor in the evenings or week-ends. I was able to grasp the concepts of math and enjoy showing my students how to make math a favorable subject. I work myself right out of a job when I get the student to fess for himself and make attempts to work the problem first, then see me about getting the solution. I won't drag out the sessions just to make more money - I strive to get the student as independent as soon as practical.

I have attended 5 different schools and have over 157 credit hours of college, 22 hours in math courses alone. I have an Associates of Applied Science Degree with emphasis in Drafting and Design. We used lots of math in my field, and most of it came to me naturally.
