Keith's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since high school. I would help elementry students with their homework during my study halls. I continued help my residents (I was a Resident Assistant) in college teaching them good study habits and helping with stress relief and focusing techniques. While in graduate school I completed a year of service in AmeriCorps where I was emmersed in an inner-city elementary school. I taught their first grade after school program, and after I completed my year of service my site hired my on as a lead teacher for their second grade program. My primary function was to help the students understand their school work in a large classroom setting or with one-on-one tutoring. My greatest accomplishment was with a first grader who could recognize eight letters and after the program he became on of my best readers.
