Jill's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I have no formal experience tutoring, except for helping friends along the way and raising my three children, two of which did very well in college, the third is still in elementary school. I have an Associate of Liberal Arts Degree, a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate and am a Certified Pharmacy Technician with a certificate in Medication Therapy Management. I am 45 years old and was taught 'old math,' but my youngest is being taught 'new math' in school and I am following along just fine. Math has always come easy to me, hence my career choices thus far. I was fortunate enough to have awesome English professors in college and feel I can also offer critical skills in this area. I have found in my own educational experiences that memory skills are crucial and sometimes overlooked.
