My senior year of high school, I was an intern at a middle school near my hometown. Through this opportunity, I learned different methods for teaching all subjects, and also how to handle a student's questions properly. I feel as though my educational background prepares me for any subject matter a student may need help with. My mother is also a middle school teacher. I have observed her teaching style many times in both a public school setting and private tutor setting. I have learned a lot from her through this experience such as handling a difficult subject matter that I may not have the most background in.
