Glad to provide this for an interested family eager to place their loved one in caring hands! My background as a Tutor/Mentor occurred post graduate school as I located school based positions at local public school districts.
I have since worked for three other companies that specialized in working with individual students who needed assistance with passing their state test (s). I worked with special populations and those with Limited English Proficiency concerns.
I am great at modeling, providing rich examples, use humor throughout the session with a solid reinforcement aimed to shift confidence levels and in improving test anxiety. I have taught all levels math (up to 9th Grade), Reading, Writing,Speech Presentations,Spelling,Social Studies, Science (up to Physics based level)and some college prep.
