Cory's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I am a former elementary school teacher. I have taught full day kindergarten, first grade, and reading intervention (grades k-3). I now stay at home with my two young children. I love staying in the education field and recently began working for UC as an online supervisor for student teachers. This allows me to still be out in the teaching field, observing and learning new and innovative strategies for teaching. I love working one-on-one and with small groups of children. When I taught reading intervention I worked with small groups and followed a strong curriculum based program. I believe it is important to make learning fun! I am able to provide my own materials if this is something you are interested in.
