I was hired as the first official physics tutor at my college (University of Hawai'i at Hilo). In the three semesters I tutored, student traffic increased steadily to the point where my hours were greatly increased. I have also been asked to tutor friends throughout college in math and science. These experiences inspired me to explore the field of education. I am currently a substitute teacher in Hawai'i County.
