Andrea's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I have been working in the field of education for about 13 years now in some capacity or another. For the past 7 of those 13 years I have been employed as a teacher at the elementary level. I have had many tutoring placements and opportunities throughout these years. I have experience working with diverse needs, populations, and ages (within the elementary level). I am certified and experienced in the field of learning disabilities so I have accumulated a very large resource bank for those struggling with skills and concepts in the various academic areas. In addition, tutoring has always been an ideal fit for me as I do well establishing the relationship needed between student and tutor that is needed to progress towards goals. I excel at creating individualized, goal oriented plans based on student need and existing strength.
