I have been tutoring for the past 15 years. I began tutoring younger students in high school, then tutored sisters as part of my sorority's Scholarship Committee. After graduating college, I began work as a college academic advisor and have been tutoring college students for the past 7 years. Amber's Education & Certifications
I was the first one in my family to graduate from high school, much less college, but I was able to earn a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Science, as well as, a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration/Student Development. I am proficient in English and Literature and was deemed "Verbally Gifted" by the Duke University Talent Search Program. I can tutor just about anything, but I am particularly talented at editing and proofreading essays and projects, as well as coaching students on how to write an essay properly.
