Amanda's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I have always had a passion for teaching children, from teaching my homework to my imaginary classroom in elementary school to babysitting children ranging from three to nine to teaching a non-native English speaker to read, write, and speak English. I've also done a summer job and several volunteer and substitute jobs at various child care centers working with toddler to elementary age children. I have a love of learning that I'd like to pass on to the children that I tutor and am happy to help with a variety of subjects, and more than willing to seek out any answers to things I don't already know.

I have just completed my Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies in Elementary Education, which also included many hours of field experience in first through fourth grade classrooms, and am accustomed to working with children in that age range.
