Amanda's Bio & Tutoring Experience

Being an international baccalaureate student during high school, I understand the pressure and necessity to do exceptionally well in high school to be able to receive the acceptance letter for that dream college. I know in addition to the regular classroom, tutoring is one way to give your child an edge-up in education and ultimately steam-line them into being successful in college.
My qualifications and experience in the field of education will prove to you that I am a competent and creative tutor who will help your student be as successful as possible; I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Adolescent English Education for grades 7-12 and I am also New York State Certified in English Language Arts for grades 7-12. Additionally, I hold relevant classroom teaching experience at the middle and high school level, as well as served as a writing theory college mentor. My expertise falls mostly in English, writing, grammar, literature and all other ELA related topics.
I firmly believe that my qualifications demonstrates my competency in how to effectively teach to your child's strengths, learning type, and push them to be the best they can be. I always say that strong reading and writing skills are a gateway for success in all subject areas.
